Our Board of Directors


The Jindhag Foundation is a charitable organization founded to support and preserve the cultural diversity of traditional and indigenous peoples around the world that are being threatened with extinction and assimilation into modernity. The word Jindhag comes from the Tibetan word for “sponsors” and is associated with the notion of giving support.

Ajna Seret


Ajna Seret was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. During his senior year of high school he studied abroad in Nepal and was introduced to Buddhist studies at Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu. Between 1997 and 2001 he continued studying at the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharmsala, India and at Manjushree Center of Tibetan Culture in Darjeeling.

Ajna has a B.A. from The California Institute of Integral Studies in Interdisciplinary Studies. In May of 2000 Ajna founded The Thubten Norbu Ling Tibetan Buddhist Center, an FPMT center in Santa Fe, which offers teachings and workshops in the Mahayana Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. He served as the center’s first Director and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors. Today TNL has a thriving program.

Ajna is currently working for the family business and living in Santa Fe with his wife Roberta and two children.
